Abstract
“Flames of Fury” is a heart-wrenching story of a woman with a dark past
who has triumphed over all obstacles in her life to become a business tycoon.:
Darya's turbulent life has seen her escape child prostitution and sex slavery in
her native land of Iran by fleeing to England for higher education - and then settling successfully in Canada.
But all is not well for Darya Pierson in present-day Toronto. While she appears loyal and capable to others as the interim CEO of her husband's firm, the strong-headed Darya stands on the verge of being exposed for unethical business practices - and infidelity to Michael., her husband Only her psychiatrist,, Dr. Thompson, knows about the serious, growing mental illnesses and dark places in which Darya alone is struggling.
Meanwhile, Michael remains oblivious to Darya's betrayals and mental illness, even as he befriends a homeless man with mental illnesses of his own.
Will Darya - and the people she loves - find a way to get her away from the flames of fury that grow evermore?

About the Characters
- Darya Pierson: A bold, strong-headed Canadian-Iranian business woman and the second wife of Michael Pierson. She tries to overlook her dark past and revel in her newfound love, but it is not easy to live with the mental anguish of her turbulent past.
- Michael Pierson: The caring, generous CEO of Pierson Industries. The husband of Darya Pierson. Sufferingthe loss of his mother and dealing with his daughter’s disapproval of his second wife, he has lost interest in his family business and has appointed his wife to take care of his firm.
- Ashley Pierson: The discontented teenage daughter of Michael from his first marriage, she believes Darya is only after her father’s money.
- Tony: A private eye and Ashley’s new friend. He is always there for Ashley when she needs to vent or needs help shedding more light on who Darya is.
- Homeless: A nameless, homeless man. Also suffering from mental illness, he befriends Michael by accident and prompts Michael to think about mental health issues in new ways.
- Dr. Thompson: Darya's sensitive, kind Psychotherapist.
- Richard Dalton: The CFO of Pierson Industries. He has a brief affair with Darya while Michael is
away from business to take care of his dying mother.
- Sebastian Medes: An clever, ambitious, and cautious young investor at Pierson Industries. The son of Robert Medes.
- Robert Medes: A major investor in Pierson Industries, and a close friend of Michael's parents. With Darya as acting CEO, he worries about the business and encourages his son, Sebastian, to look into Darya's affairs.
